EICTDA is planning to organise its 1st edition of ETHIO 2000 ICT EXHIBITION. The Exhibition is scheduled to be held over a period of three days, from Monday 7 to Wednesday 9 April 2008 at the Addis Ababa Exhibition Centre. The ETHIO ICT 2000 event will include an Exhibition, Product Demos, and an ICT National Conference.  The theme of ETHIO 2000 ICT EXHIBITION is “ICT Assisted Rapid Development in the new Millenium”.

This major first annual Information and Communication Technology (ICT) event is organised with a view to sensitise the population on emerging technologies and boost business opportunities in the ICT sector.

It is evident that the exhibition provides ICT services providers a platform to gain exposure and comprehensive visibility to the government, business community, NGOs, individuals and the external market. In addition to this the event as a forum introduces the potential of the field and allows business conceptualises, technology experts, developers and strategists to make out of it.

The exhibition aims to cover the entire spectrum of technology and the key elements that make up the ICT products and services marketplace. This is the only event where Local and foreign ICT Companies exhibit their ICT products and services to a large and high level audience of government, business decision makers and buyers – keen to see the latest solutions available.
