ICT HRD Strategy and Implementation Plan National Workshop
The Ethiopian ICT Development Agency (EICTDA) is currently undertaking different initiatives. Among these, the ICT HRD Strategy and Implementation Plan was the one that studied by consultant firm. The document is at a final draft level and needs experts’ input to be finalized.
Inline with this, the agency has organized a one day national workshop in order to enrich the document further. The workshop will bring together scholars and experts in the ICT field. It will be held at Ghion Hotel on Tuesday June 30, 2009 from 8:30 am – 6:00 pm.

The Ethiopian ICT Development Agency (EICTDA) is currently undertaking different initiatives in the development of different ICT Standards at national level. Currently we are preparing:
1. Ethiopic to Latin Transliteration and SoundeX Standard document,which is expected to be an important reference in representing the Characters of Ethiopic Scripts in to Latin Script. The document is at a Draft level and needs experts’ input to be finalized.
In line with this, the agency has organized a half day national workshop in order to enrich the document further. The workshop will bring together scholars and experts in the field related to this. It will be held at Ethiopia Hotel on Tuesday June 9, 2009 from 8:30 Am-1:30 PM.
