Government Portal and Call Center are inaugurated
The Ethiopian government portal and the call center are inaugurated officially at the Ministry of Capacity Building. The inauguration is done by Honorable Minister Tefera Walwa. Ministers, Director Generals from different governmental institutions are participated in the ceremony. Both are a one- top citizen service centers to be used to give up-to-date and accurate information on government services to the citizens. The portal will serve citizens which have a connection (access) to the internet while the call center is to be used to those which have access to phones (landline and mobile). The URL of the portal is www.ethiopia.gov.et and the number for the call center is 888. 888 is toll-free line (free of charge from customers side).
In the inauguration ceremony, the Director General of Ethiopian ICT Development Agency, honorable Debretsion G/Michael indicated that the two initiatives are the output of the first phase initiatives in the e-government activities of the Agency.

3rd annual ICT exhibtion organized
The Ethiopian Information Communications Technology Development Agency (EICTDA) has organised the annual ICT Exhibition and Conference that was held from June 2 through 6, 2010 and iConcept Plc was assigned to coordinate the event. The exhibition has attracted a wide assortment of participation.
